Day with dad on the motorbike

Yesterday my dad said he'd go to the coast, he had stuff to arrange there. I asked if I could go with him, with his motorbike. Today around 1PM dad picked me up and we started our tour with the motorbike.

Instead of using the highways, we drove on smaller roads between little town. We drove into the Netherlands, Sealand. I really love how flat it is there. Fields, farms and small streams. When we took a small break, to stretch the leggs, I took some pictures.

This is my dad's motorbike.

We continued driving till we reached the sea. It was at a town called Cadzand, in the Netherlands. My dad wanted to stop there to show the dunes, which we barely find on the Belgian coast because we build so many apartment blocks.

We took one more small break before reaching the town where dad needed to be. Watch the bright blue sky. Such a lovely day. There was a lot of wind though.

Then, after dad finished his work, we followed the sea. After a few kilometres we took a break. You may think we take a lot of breaks, but it's needed. It really hurts to sit in the same position all the time.

This place is where the river 'Schelde' flows into the sea. It was a really nice place. There were also funny, weird, sheep. On the other side of the river you can see ports.

We took another break in a small, boring town and continued to our last destination. The ghost town 'Doel'. It's a town with a nuclear power plant. Since they want to expand the port, the town has to disappear. If people leave their houses (or die), then the houses can't be sold again. Result is a scary ghost town. There was graffiti on all houses and texts like 'Doel has to stay!'.

After that we drove home. Fun day!
