Time to laugh

It has been a while since I last posted a time to laugh post (I think). I got a lot funny pictures on my computer that I didn't post yet but that's because I didn't want to spam my blog with only posts like this... sigh... Anyway... Here are some funny pictures!






 

Hotarubi no Mori e

I made this drawing a while ago (at least two months ago...) but never got to finish the background. I tried something now. It's far from what I wanted it to look like but... this will have to do. Else I'll never finish it.

 

Coloured drawing: Chicken server

This are the 4 players on the 'Chicken Server'. I tried to draw us how we'd look like if we weren't just blocks.

Oh and my temple is on the background. I didn't add Dave's front garden though (sorry). It would just make it confusing.

From right to left:

- Me as female Jack Sparrow. I hold a flint and steel because I once set our whole farm on fire.

- Patrick as a knight. He is building a castle and has a knight skin.

- Sabrina imitating a creeper to scare Dave. Just because... She would do that if she could!

- Dave digging. He had to dig away a big hill to build his arena.

Papercraft update and more pictures

Papercraft update and some other pictures! Hooray!

I forgot to post this -cough-. My apologies. This is the cap of my new papercraft so far (still have to add some borders). It's not attached to the head so it'll probably look different on the finished model.

We changed our router at dad's house (so I got fast internet again) and my brother said internet would be down for a while because of that (which wasn't true in the end) so I printed this one piece papercraft. It's a mouse but let's pretend it's a rat.

We got (or had) rats in the garden at dad's house. Dad tried to catch them with traps and poison but it didn't work out very well. In the end he caught 7 rats and one mouse. To 'cheer him' I made this rat papercraft for him. I'm still not sure if he's happy that I made it for him or if he's hurt by the fact I handed it over while saying 'finally a rat you can catch'. I'll probably never know. Haha, I love my father.

Mr Super Kind Awesome Dave (I only call him this now because he gave me this gift; joke joke <3) gave me this awesome present! He already told me he had a surprise for me but he wouldn't tell me what it was. Yesterday he gave me a cute paper bag with this CD inside. I'm so happy with it. Ludovico Einaudi is my Hero of the piano. I just adore his music. I can just close my eyes, listen to his music and enjoy. Anyway, thank you very much Dave.

Hey look a snail on our terrace. He left a nice track. And died after making it. True story.

I think my mother is so jealous with my skinny-ness that she tries to get my fat now. She keeps buying donuts for me and I can't stop eating them. Aargh!

To finish this blogpost I got this nice picture of my cat sleeping on a weird spot. No it's not a too small box, shoebox, banana box, laptop, laptop bag, scarf, bread basket, sweater, doormat,... this time but it's....

Working at my castle

I haven't been working on my castle anymore for quite a while. I didn't have much inspiration anymore Seeing what Sabrina could build made my castle feel small and boring but... I started to work on it again! I really wanted to finish my castle. It was the first big project on minecraft that I ever started, so I'll finish it too.

It's not finished yet but I made some progress. Screenshot time. (Sorry for the many screenshots...)

For my castle I needed to burn a lot cubblestone to smoothstone. For that I needed coal so I went into a cave to hunt coal. After a while I finally found some... between lava...

This is the height from the tower seen from inside when there was no floor build between yet.

Creeper stuck.

I made a trip to the Nether too to get some Netherbricks (special stone). Piggy awaited me.

I-is that a fireball coming into my direction? Help!

When I went to get sand I passed our cactus field. If you come too close to a cactus you get hurt. I decided to go around it.

If you turn your back to the throne you see this hole. Pull the lever and a doorway appears.

When you walk through it you arrive in a sort of shrine.
