Last week the new living story got introduced, including a new map named Dry Waste. It can be found west of Maguuma. The Zephyres who came to Lion's Arch after the battle to help raising money for the rebuilding of the city flew home but crashed on their way, in Dry Waste.
The story continues following the new Destiny's Edge. They find out that the Zephyres crashed because of a saboteur and later on they find a house where Scarlet used to live. Aside from that nothing really happens.
When I first arrived in Dry Waste I found the map rather boring but I started to see the beauty of it later on (as you'll see in the screenshots). There are various activities and achievements to do. The story journal changed too. You can now re-play story mission (to get achievements).
Anyway! Screenshots!
Me on my lazy spot in HoTW.
Stelios embracing lava.
Alera and Smoer managed to fall in the lava, Stelios died so it was up to me and Aidan to kill the boss. We revived Stelios and did it!
And then we almost all died on the golems after the boss...
My backpack has feet!
About to finish Tequatl. War zone!
When I was doing HoTW I challenged Aidan to go pant- and shirtless and did so myself too. I got some serious lag in the beginning and made use of it to make some nice screenshots.
Dancing Necro transformation.
One minute after entering the dungeon...
I went to kill Karka Queen with Saad but I arrived on a different map and got stuck in a war zone. I arrived in a small camp surrounded by walls with only one entrance. There was a Champion Karka inside the camp and on the bridge leading to the camp there was another Karka (veteran or something). Basically, everyone was trapped in the camp and it looked like a real war zone...
Tequatl!
Met random guy in Hoelbrak on my Norn Guardian and started dancing and such...
Hardcore player.
Dry Waste! There is only one small town. Very different from any other town in Kryta.
Scenery.
Story with Saad.
Before Tennou left on holidays he took me and Saad to CM where he warped out and showed us this creepy building...
Dancing with Smoer at Tequatl.
About to do guild bounties.
Guild bounties while singing Backstreet Boys songs.
Jump puzzle! The first time I did this jump puzzle it was a hell, this time it went a lot easier. I like this one.
When we were camping for Tequatl me and Smoer decided it'd be fun to take turns dying on rotten mouths (they explode and 1 hit down you). After one of us revived the other we forgot to move away and got both downed. Haha.
Target everything!
Last monday me Smoer and Aidan decided to try Triple Trouble again. It was very well organised and I didn't forget to take screenshots this time!
It takes a while before it starts, but I like the excitement that hangs between everyone.
The team that was supposed to kill the Amber wurm was too slow so we failed Triple Trouble. Next time better!
There are llamas in Dry Waste!
We did CoE path 3 again. In the beginning one girl was complaining that we didn't stack so I told her she could leave if it bothered her. A new friend/guildy named Mikey joined us instead and... We had the most smooth CoE p3 run EVER. But the Evolved Destroyer is still the hardest boss in the whole dungeon, haha.
We also decided to try Arah path 2 this week. I barely remember anything from Arah but we tried. We managed to reach Lupi but didn't manage to kill him.
There's one part with a lot of monsters where you have to use a golem suit to pass. We kept failing and realized it was much easier to just run through it.
When I turned a corner I saw an army of risen walk to me. I kind of got really scared and backed off, when I looked at their names I realized there was only one elite. We crushed them. Ha.
Break before Lupi.
I managed to find the Legendary llama in Dry Waste. He's just tiny. That's all. Boo. Apparently he dances but he didn't dance once in the 5 minutes I stayed with him.
More scenery.
Killing a Skritt Burglar. He transformed us all in llamas.
I have one skill that teleports me to other players. I use it for the boss in CoF p3. When I fall off I usually ask Smoer to come to the cliff so I can teleport up. I failed and Smoer jumped down. Which she was not supposed to. Again. Haha.
And more scenery.
I dragged a girl from the guild Ladies of the Game with me to Tequatl. She had a commander tag and lead a dps group. She had a pretty Sylvari!
Ninja set looks good on females.
One of the 'powers' you get from a box-o-fun is something that turns you into stone after a few seconds. This guy sure made a nice statue.
Saad made a pun.
Yesterday we did Sorrow's Embrace story mode and for once I didn't die at the end boss.
Friendly reminder my thief has an ascended set and it looks really good on her.
