Neocro was standing in the entrance of the tower. Torches threw shadows of the guild members on the floor and walls. They murmured to each other and strengthened themselves with power ups. Ringmasters buffed everyone. When Neocro got buffed, power ran through her. She took a deep breath, holding her yoyos firmly in her hands. Natalie and Nico, the guild leaders, were discussing. She couldn't hear what they were saying. "Just kill the monsters that appear." Julian appeared aside her. "What?" "There will appear monsters, just kill them." Neocro nodded once. She noticed that Julian was also holding yoyos. "Ok." Sudden Nico called everyone together. Neocro walked nervous to the rest of the group. "It's about time. Let's go." Everyone followed Nico deeper into the hall. It was quiet. "Start." said Nico. Out of nowhere a monster appeared. "Graah!" Ten others appeared. The group split and everyone started to kill the monsters. Neocro looked confused around her, spun her yoyos around and threw them to the closest monster. After the first kill she smiled. It felt so good to use her yoyos. She ran to another monster. As they killed the monsters they got deeper into the tower, they killed in silence. Every after killing a few monsters, more appeared. The hall turned to the right, again to the right, again... Soon they reached the middle of the floor. No more monsters appeared. After killing the last monster a big yellow monster with 4 arms and 2 faces appeared. They ran to it, still not talking. This one seemed to be stronger and seemed to have more HP. After they finished they appeared in a big room. A huge grey monsters with wings and a huge sword walked around. "That's Asmodan." said Julian. "We have to kill him to get the money." Neocro looked impressed to the monster she had never seen before. "Are you sure I can handle him?" Julian laughed. "Nico will tank it. All you have to do is concentrate on hitting it as hard as you can."
Neocro got buffed again. "Wait." said Nico calm. He drank a few potions and nodded to Natalie. "Ok. Let's go." He ran to Asmodan. Asmodan threw his big sword on Nico, but Nico survived it. Neocro was impressed. She ran after the others to Asmodan and threw her yoyos on the monster's leg. It barely seemed to feel Neocro's yoyos. Sudden a small bat appeared aside her. Neocro shocked but Andy killed it before it could attack Neocro. "T-thank you." said Neocro. "Kill them when you see them, Neocro. Don't just stand there." said Andy. Neocro nodded and continued hitting Asmodan.
Neocro didn't know how much time had passed and how many bats she killed. Everyone fought in silence. Sometimes she got stunned or attacked by poison, but it didn't really hurt her. Nico barely got hurt, and if he did he gained his HP back very quick. Natalie rebuffed everyone from time to time. Then, finally, Asmodan fell down. The guild members smiled relieved. "Good job everyone." said Natalie. They got teleported out of the tower.
Neocro sighed. She got up from the bench at the statue. She stretched. How long had she been gazing to the statue again? She walked away from the square. The sun was low. It'd be twilight soon. Neocro felt all warm inside by thinking about twilight. "I should find a nice hill to watch the sunset." murmured Neocro. She jumped over the small city walls and walked through the grass of Saint Morning. Neocro didn't feel like using Dark Illusion for once. She wanted to feel the last sun rays on her skin, not through it. She passed Bangs and Flybats. On the hills at Mias she noticed the big hills of Shade and the Tableand of Silence in the distance. That's where she wanted to watch the sunset! Neocro decided to avoid the pumpkin town and walked into the direction of Giggle Boxes. A few people were still training at the places she passed. Neocro noticed a group of people at Giggle Boxes. They didn't seem the be training. Neocro decided to get closer to see what was going on. The boys of the group were wearing dark T-shirts with black pants. What did Sean say again about those people? Neocro froze, she remembered.She had to get out of here. Neocro saw that the group noticed her. They grinned and ran to Neocro. Neocro grabbed her yoyos and disappeared in Dark Illusion. She tried to run away but she couldn't run any more.
Sven didn't run any more. "Sam... I can't run any more!" Sam jumped up and tried to run to Sven but... She couldn't run either! When 2 blades appeared Sam and Sven looked to each other with fear in their eyes. "..." The Blade hit Sam with his sword. Her leg was bleeding. Sam tried to ignore the pain and kicked the blade who was standing a bit closer as before now. The tallest boy laughed. Sam hit the blade again and again. His HP got lower. "Hey, stop that!" said the tallest boy. " Narf, run away from her!" The smallest boy was so surprised from her damage that he didn't move. Sam had to hit one more time, then he would die. But she did nothing. The boy looked scared to her. Then she threw her knuckle away. "I don't kill other players, only monsters." Then she fell down.
"Come on, play with us." said one of the guys. She remembered him from Darken. "You can't go any where, let's have a fight while you're here." Neocro held her yoyos firm in her hands. She couldn't stay much longer in Dark Illusion. 10 seconds left. "It won't hurt... too much. Play with us." The boys laughed. The girls giggled. 8 seconds left. "Appear for us." 5 seconds. They held their weapons ready. 3 seconds. 2 seconds. 1 second. She appeared out of Dark Iluusion. Her yoyos in her hands. "There you are..." They looked a little shocked to her yoyos. "Who'll start?" They looked to each other. A guy with a bow shot one arrow to Neocro. He used Dark Illusion and laughed. Neocro didn't move. Another guy hit her once with a sword. Neocro felt her arm aching. She closed her eyes. "Idiots, she is no fun. Let's Asal her." A Billposter stepped closer and held his knuckle ready. "Bye." He turned his knuckle around and stepped back with one foot. Then he ran forward... and fell down. Neocro opened her eyes. She saw Sean aside her. Dino and Rick jumped off their bikes. "No one... hurts Neocro!" yelled Sean. Rick put an arrow on his bow and Dino held his knuckle ready. "Leave her alone." said Dino calm. Another Billposter laughed. He stepped forward and and used Asal on Dino. Dino smiled when the boy noticed Dino didn't die at all. "Noobs." said Dino. Rick's arrow shot the guy down. Sean took Neocro by her armd and dragged her away. Rick and Dino followed. The Mafia guys glared.
They passed pumpkin town. Sean let go of Neocro. He looked angrily to Neocro. "Don't ever go to Giggle Boxes alone. It's dangerous there!" Neocro lifted her shoulders. "I wanted to see the sunset..." Sean sighed. "Then... Tell me why you didn't fight back." "Sam wouldn't want that." said Neocro quiet. "...Who is Sam?" asked Rick. Neocro shook her head. "I don't know..." They walked back to Sain City in silence. Twilight covering their backs.
