Giggling in Sweden!

I've been home from Sweden for about a week now. Time to update my blog!

Day 1 (Friday):

I took a plane in the evening and arrived in Sweden around 8PM. We drove home, had some dinner and went for a walk with Zune, Gabriella's dog. After that we showed off all the candy we had/brought. Gabriella already bought a lot for us before I arrived and I brought some of Gabriella's favourite chocolates.

Day 2 (Saturday):

We had planned to visit a couple of museums so we planned to visit one that day. We took the bus/subway to Stockholm city and visited a couple of stores first. We wanted to buy the Elder Scrolls Online to play together and Gabriella was looking for a tripod. After buying a tripod and checking the prices of TESO we went to a small museum about the history of Stockholm.

The museum was pretty interesting, it had tiny houses you could go into to see how the people of Stockholm lived in Medieval times. We visited the museum shop, bought the Elder Scrolls and went back home. There we tried to install the game but it went really slow. We decided to watch Supernatural and play some Civilization for the rest of the day and let our laptops patch the game whil we slept.

Day 3 (Sunday):

As soon as we woke up we checked our laptops and were excited to see our patches were FINALLY done. We started the game and tried to make a character. We decided to make Woodelves in the Aldmeri Dominion. I made a dragonknight and Gabriella a Templar. You can read more about us playing TESO in the previous blog post.

For the rest of the day we played TESO, Civilization and watched Supernatural. It was Easter Sunday so Gabriella's sister and her boyfriend came over and we had dinner with the whole family.

This is what I got for breakfast every day. A toast with a glass of water.

Day4 (Monday):

Another lazy day! We biked to the store and made coloured cupcakes. We made cupcakes with almond, chocolate, sugar sprinkles and raspberries. They looked amazing and tasted amazing. Gabriella took 104 pictures of them for some reason. The rest of the day we spent watching supernatural and playing games.

Day5 (Tuesday):

Gabriella had an appointment with her dentist so we got up early and went to the city. We were a bit too early so we visited a round library and climbed a cliff. It gave us a nice scenery over the city. After Gabriella's visit to the dentist we went to SubWay and bought sandwiches and cookies, then we took the subway to the museum of natural history. We ate our sandwiches on a bench near the museum.

The museum was really big but also interesting. There was a whole part about prehistoric animals and dinosaurs. Then there was a part about the evolution of humans. After that we saw loads of stuffed birds and other animals. There was also a really big part about polar animals.

This is an elephant seal. The male is on the left, the female on the right. The males are gigantic and ... odd. At first me and Gabriella thought they were prehistoric but apparently they're not.

Day6 (Wednesday):

We planned to have a lazy day after all the walking from the day before but we wanted to visit the Vasamuseum and on Thursdays between certain hours it costed less so we went anyway.

The Vasamuseum is a museum about a ship that sunk on her maidenvoyage in 1628. It lay underwater for about 330 years. It is really well preserved and they do everything to preserve it for much longer.

They used this to dive underwater years ago.

Day7 (Thursday):

I had to take pictures for something I had to make for school so we headed out with our bikes to find a nice place. We found a really nice cliff with a view over a lake and hang out there for a while. After that we went to the supermarket. When we arrived home Gabriella made super awesome Meringues an I made pasta with ham.

Day8 (Friday):

Last day! We biked a bit and did lazy stuff. At 3PM we left for the airport. When we arrived there we realized we totally never checked the actual hour of the plane I was supposed to take. I missed my flight! We drove back home and booked a new ticket for Saturday morning. Then we left for the city and watched the movie 'Into the woods' in a movie theater. There was a lot of singing in the movie.

We slept a couple of hours and drove back to the airport where I didn't miss my flight this time.

The plane was pretty empty.

I had an amazing week in Sweden and I look forward to Gabriella visiting me this summer. I love just hanging out with her, playing games together and watch Supernatural. Those are things we can't really do when we're apart -snif-. I really treasure my time with her!
