(Pictures are a mix of my pictures and Gabriella's pictures)
Last two weeks Gabriella was visiting me in Belgium. We spent a lot of time playing Minecraft but we also went to the seaside, went biking, had a guild wars evening and visited the city. We had a really good time!
Soon after her arrival Gabriella and me did great teamwork saving the Mikado sticks.
Breakfast.
Our lonely shopping basket.
Belgian fries!
For our Guild Wars 2 evening we invited Muriel and Yannick over. After a long discussion about the table setting we settled with this. 4 laptops and a desktop (me, Gabriella and Muriel played on a laptop and we had a fourth laptop for Skyping with Erik, who joined us for dungeons)! I was surprised my internet managed to handle 4 times GW.
After Yannick made dinner for us (fried brie with cherrysauce) we did CoE 3 and then headed to Aetherblades. They both went really smoothly (after a bad start in CoE). When we were done with Aetherblades Muriel went home and me Gabriella and Yannick did some jps before we went to sleep.
The morning after I failed miserably at making toast for breakfast. I blame Yannick being there. I always fail at cooking when he's around...
Gabriella took the opportunity to take loads of pictures of my failure. She was impressed.
Later that day we made sausage rolls. They didn't fail.
My mother has an apartment at the seaside so we decided to go for a day and a night. Here's Gabriella hiding behind her laptop (with a steak sticker my father gave us).
After finding our way to the apartment and buying food we went for a short sunset walk. There were a lot of clouds but it made the sunset really cool. Picturespam.
Even though it wasn't really warm, the sea was pretty warm. It was nice to walk in the water.
Gabriella's foot meets jellyfish.
Break.
Our doormat. Oops. Sand really gets everywhere.
Breakfast.
The next day we visited some shops, bought lunch and then wanted to go for another walk but it started raining. We played minecraft for an hour, until the rain stopped, and went out. The beach was empty so we made some nice beach-art.
An old lady that passed our drawing right after we moved on seemed very confused.
Our footprints.
Gabriella picked up a lot of shells. Me only a couple. At one point we both stopped walking to pick one up. We showed it to each other and started to laugh.
Break.
On our way back to the apartment we found some more beach art. We decided to compliment them.
When we found our art back (which was difficult because the sea was pulled back so we got disoriented...) someone added something to our art. We couldn't really make up what it said so Gab wrote WTH over it.
When we were about to leave the beach Gab found this book and asked me what it said. It was all in English.
Making a friend while waiting for a train.
More fries!
Pictures from before Gabriella was here.
Hagar and Hermine playing.
Gabriella found these flower petals and sent a picture to me, saying the hearts reminded her of me. Aww.
Hagar relaxing like a boss.
Y-yawning like a boss?
Tourists are WEIRD.
Fried chicken made by Yannick. He's a damn good cook.
Fried chicken from Pizza Hut. Yasssss.
Hagar and Hermine fighting over a sunny spot.
New necklace my mother gave me.
Pretty clouds in the evening.
What do you do when you wake at 6 in the morning and you don't feel like sleeping more? Put the goats in the grass and enjoy the morning sun. Amazing.
Really cool picture of Stockholm from Gabriella.
