So my second trip to America is... Texas. Texas is warm. Like, warm warm. There's almost nothing to see here except a few things in the bigger cities and did I mention that it's warm here?
Yet, I love it. I've been in Texas for 10 days now. I came here to be with Sonaj of course. The first days we spend in Dallas and now we're in Lubbock, where Sonaj studies. Most of our days are pretty boring but I'm enjoying every moment of it. Just being able to be here with him makes me happy.
Pictures!
On our first day we bought lunch and ate it somewhere at a lake. This was the view.
We also visited the house Sonaj's famly is building. It's really big.
'Wild' life!
On our second day we hang out with a friend of Sonaj and went to a much bigger lake.
And we had dinner at an awesome place called Genghis Grill where we had to assemble our own dish.
At Sonaj's previous University, a tired squirrel.
Soo, this is Sonaj's previous University. It was really big but it was nice. We even went inside and visited some professors and classrooms. There were no classes going on though.
An entrance hall.
A day later we went to Walmart! It was my first time in a Walmart and in a bigger supermarket in the US so I was really impressed by the stuff they had. Look at all those Oreos and Pringles!
A 19 year old cat at the place we stayed one night.
Sonaj's friend's house I stayed at for one night, it's like a house from an American movie!
One evening we went to eat fish at the apartment of the boyfriend of one of Sonaj's friends. We also stayed there (half) a night.
This guy said he'd take a picture of us but he took 20 of his own instead. Now he's on my blog. Pleh!
The apartment was pretty cozy.
'Skyline' of Dallas.
We drove from like 4am till 1pm to go to Lubbock. I really liked it and we got to see a sunrise.
Stopped for gas.
The endless road.
This is basically how Texas looks like. No trees and just endless views. I really like it. They even have cactus and wild sunflowers! And we saw a sort of desert fox.
I finally got to try KFC when we got in Lubbock!
Sonaj's huge TV. It's 3D and we watched The Wizard of OZ on it in 3D one night. Was really nice.
I'm trying to give Sonaj healthy food so we mostly have fruit salad for breakfast. Yummy.
Sushiii....
I'll post more pictures later but for now there's not much to show. I spend most of my days trying to get Sonaj to study, make some food for him and play The Sims.
