My Xbox360 games: Part 2

After finishing my first 4 games I bought two new games (one by one). Here's what I think about my 2 new games and what I think about the 2 games that I didn't finish yet in the first 'Xbox360 games' post.

Call of Duty: Black Ops
I know. Dino and Bored warned me. Call of Duty is not Halo. It's a lot more fast-paced. When I started the Campain it reminded me a lot of Homefront. "Obviously!" said Dino. "A lot of games are like COD." Right... Anyway my experience from Homefront helped me a lot but it couldn't prevent me from dying. I can't say I died all the time, but I still died sometimes... even though I was playing on easiest.

The storyline of the Campain first confused me. I couldn't really follow it but it was great to play. At a certain point I was in the jungle (or something) and I was so amazed by what I saw. The river I was walking in, the bugs you saw flying around. The sound... God I love such things! The missions were quite fun and I enjoyed the Campain. I'll definitely play it again. When I finished the Campain I tried Zombie mode. I quit that rather fast because the Zombies scared me. Then I finally played online with MrBored.

In my first multiplayer game I died like 5 times without even moving around. Bored decided to play the recruit mode with me then. There you can set NPCs and practice for the real multiplayer mode. We also did some 1vs1 matches where I got used to the multiplayer maps and the controls. The multiplayer is a lot different from the Campain. The day after I decided to go on multiplayer myself. Dino was explaining me everything about the guns and classes while I said proud that I did kill streaks and all that. Dino was impressed. The day after that we found out I was playing against easiest NPCs in recruit mode, and not in the multiplayer mode. Gotta love myself!

When I tried again the real multiplayer mode I got faced with reality. Damn. It's so hard. But the feeling when I managed to kill someone... great! I'm still playing sometimes and trying to get better, but it's not easy at all. I mostly have to quit after a few matches because getting spamkilled isn't something I like. I barely manage to kill more people than people kill me. Well, I bet there are a lot of geeks playing COD all day long, is this an excuse for me to be bad?

Majin and the forsaken Kingdom.
"If both have something we want to protect, that means we can be partners." said the Thief. "Partners?" asked the Majin. "What is... a partner?" "Partner... means friend!" That's how the Thief and the Majin became friends and started to free the Kingdom from the evil force.

I read earlier about this game but I wasn't sure if I'd interest me enough. After playing demo I was sold. This game... felt great to play. When I looked in a store it was cheap too, so I bought it.

The story is about a Thief that rescued an ancient monster, Majin, from the evil castle. Together they go on a journey to save the Kingdom. Bit by bit you get to know more about how the Kingdom got forgotten, by getting more of the Majin's memories back. The Majin is a simple monster with small brains but his heart is twice as big. Seeing the friendship of this two grow makes me so happy.

The game reminds me the most of The Legend of Zelda games. You puzzle, fight and kill bosses that are a lot similar as The Legend of Zelda bosses. You actually order the Majin around. Telling him to open gates, to lower his back so you can get to higher places, tell him to throw catapults, push walls, push rocks... and tell him to fight together with you. When you fight together you can do special skills and do attacks together. It just looks so nice and when you kill a monster together the two dance around. So cute... By giving fruits to the Majin he gains bit by bit his powers back. Then he can use skills like fire attacks, wind attacks, ...

It's pretty sad that this game doesn't get more attention. It's a great game. I love it and I'll make sure their friendship will get the Kingdom back. "Yeah! You're great!"

Dragon Age II
It took me a while to finish it, but it was great to finish it. It was really hard too. I ran away from a few monsters just because they were too hard to kill. Anyway. I tried to play a second time through the game but it bored me. In Dragon Age II you have a lot of dialogues. You can choose your answers but... reading everything a second time again just annoys me. I picked a different class, different answers but the game still feels the same to me. So. Dragon Age II is a great game, but I don't think I'll finish it a second time.

Fable III
What a game. I didn't really enjoy it that much... The first Fable just seemed a lot better to me. In the end (after I became Queen) I had to make hard decisions about my kingdom and it was just lame, and not fun. The end boss was just way too easy too. Then I spend more than an hour trying to get a husband. But I still didn't figure out how I get children. After finishing I can still do side-quests but most of them are just extremely boring, and the big map is just confusing and not clear at all. They should just make a Fable like the first one again! Am I a complainer now?
