My Xbox360 games: Part 2

After finishing my first 4 games I bought two new games (one by one). Here's what I think about my 2 new games and what I think about the 2 games that I didn't finish yet in the first 'Xbox360 games' post.

Call of Duty: Black Ops
I know. Dino and Bored warned me. Call of Duty is not Halo. It's a lot more fast-paced. When I started the Campain it reminded me a lot of Homefront. "Obviously!" said Dino. "A lot of games are like COD." Right... Anyway my experience from Homefront helped me a lot but it couldn't prevent me from dying. I can't say I died all the time, but I still died sometimes... even though I was playing on easiest.

The storyline of the Campain first confused me. I couldn't really follow it but it was great to play. At a certain point I was in the jungle (or something) and I was so amazed by what I saw. The river I was walking in, the bugs you saw flying around. The sound... God I love such things! The missions were quite fun and I enjoyed the Campain. I'll definitely play it again. When I finished the Campain I tried Zombie mode. I quit that rather fast because the Zombies scared me. Then I finally played online with MrBored.

In my first multiplayer game I died like 5 times without even moving around. Bored decided to play the recruit mode with me then. There you can set NPCs and practice for the real multiplayer mode. We also did some 1vs1 matches where I got used to the multiplayer maps and the controls. The multiplayer is a lot different from the Campain. The day after I decided to go on multiplayer myself. Dino was explaining me everything about the guns and classes while I said proud that I did kill streaks and all that. Dino was impressed. The day after that we found out I was playing against easiest NPCs in recruit mode, and not in the multiplayer mode. Gotta love myself!

When I tried again the real multiplayer mode I got faced with reality. Damn. It's so hard. But the feeling when I managed to kill someone... great! I'm still playing sometimes and trying to get better, but it's not easy at all. I mostly have to quit after a few matches because getting spamkilled isn't something I like. I barely manage to kill more people than people kill me. Well, I bet there are a lot of geeks playing COD all day long, is this an excuse for me to be bad?

Majin and the forsaken Kingdom.
"If both have something we want to protect, that means we can be partners." said the Thief. "Partners?" asked the Majin. "What is... a partner?" "Partner... means friend!" That's how the Thief and the Majin became friends and started to free the Kingdom from the evil force.

I read earlier about this game but I wasn't sure if I'd interest me enough. After playing demo I was sold. This game... felt great to play. When I looked in a store it was cheap too, so I bought it.

The story is about a Thief that rescued an ancient monster, Majin, from the evil castle. Together they go on a journey to save the Kingdom. Bit by bit you get to know more about how the Kingdom got forgotten, by getting more of the Majin's memories back. The Majin is a simple monster with small brains but his heart is twice as big. Seeing the friendship of this two grow makes me so happy.

The game reminds me the most of The Legend of Zelda games. You puzzle, fight and kill bosses that are a lot similar as The Legend of Zelda bosses. You actually order the Majin around. Telling him to open gates, to lower his back so you can get to higher places, tell him to throw catapults, push walls, push rocks... and tell him to fight together with you. When you fight together you can do special skills and do attacks together. It just looks so nice and when you kill a monster together the two dance around. So cute... By giving fruits to the Majin he gains bit by bit his powers back. Then he can use skills like fire attacks, wind attacks, ...

It's pretty sad that this game doesn't get more attention. It's a great game. I love it and I'll make sure their friendship will get the Kingdom back. "Yeah! You're great!"

Dragon Age II
It took me a while to finish it, but it was great to finish it. It was really hard too. I ran away from a few monsters just because they were too hard to kill. Anyway. I tried to play a second time through the game but it bored me. In Dragon Age II you have a lot of dialogues. You can choose your answers but... reading everything a second time again just annoys me. I picked a different class, different answers but the game still feels the same to me. So. Dragon Age II is a great game, but I don't think I'll finish it a second time.

Fable III
What a game. I didn't really enjoy it that much... The first Fable just seemed a lot better to me. In the end (after I became Queen) I had to make hard decisions about my kingdom and it was just lame, and not fun. The end boss was just way too easy too. Then I spend more than an hour trying to get a husband. But I still didn't figure out how I get children. After finishing I can still do side-quests but most of them are just extremely boring, and the big map is just confusing and not clear at all. They should just make a Fable like the first one again! Am I a complainer now?

New pictures

I went shopping yesterday and I bought new shoes, and a new Xbox game (I just couldn't resist). I wanted to buy Converse One Stars first but I didn't find the ones I wanted. Then I found this pair and I liked them!

The big kicking

Photobucket

Yesterday me and Dino both realized we felt the same about the guild lately. We didn't enjoy it any more as much as we used to. To us it felt like we were strangers to most of the guild members while we used to know a lot about each guild member. After talking and discussing we decided to just get over with it and kick a lot of people.

First of all, we didn't kick people based on who we liked or not. We kicked people that were barely online, barely talked in guild chat and people that were just in the guild for the furniture. Some of the people that got kicked were really nice but were just not active as member of the group. Hereby my apologies for kicking them out. We just want to go back to a smaller guild with less people but with people we really know well. I think the ones that stayed understand what I mean and I hope we can continue growing as a guild.

We realized past months that we could become a big guild with a lot of people. We also realized that we were not made to siege and do big events. I just suck in organising events and I just don't care about the strength of people's characters. Because of that we are just not able to do any siege and achieve something. It's something we have to accept. With more guild members the pressure of doing things with everyone grew. Keeping my eyes on the guild all the time became more tiring to me too. It was just better for the guild, and for me, to go back to a smaller guild. I hope that everyone had/has a good time in TwilightDentifrice just like I did with everyone.

If someone wants a second chance you can always let me (or Dino) know. It's not like we want to create an 'elite group' out of Twilight Dentifrice where only 'chosen' people can join. We just want a peaceful, friendly guild. I hope everyone understands and that no one holds a grudge against us. Feel free to talk to me or Dino if you disagree with anything. We're open for such things.

Thank you everyone for the great times in the past, and hopefully in the present and future.

Bored's (coloured) drawings: Dino

Bored drew Dino's character and I coloured it. I didn't add the lines across the eyes because I thought it'd made the drawing too 'busy'. Bored made more drawings and I'll be colouring them soon, probably. Hope you like it!

(Extra pictures: I was practising guitar and Tipi joined by trying to catch the strings of the guitar. Pictures are bad but it was just too funny.)

Holidays!

Sitting behind my dad on the motorbike I watched to the hills that surrounded me. I felt my heart glowing. I'm still not sure what I like more. Sealand, with the open flat fields and small channels? Or do I like the Ardennes more, with the hills and forests. As we drove through a forest I could smell the fresh forest smell. The smell of the pine trees. The smell of the plants that grow on the rough forest ground. One thing is sure, damn I love this place.

After begging for a while with my mother to give me a day off I could finally go on a short holiday again. Last time that I got off for holidays was autumn last year. I was really happy that I could go, though I felt a bit bad leaving TDF. I'm starting to get TDF addict...
I could go with my dad and his girlfriend to the Ardennes, the country side of Belgium. They had their motorbikes standing in the old farm where we stay. It's a house from my grandparents and we often go there. The house is in a really small village with farmers and surrounded by hills and forests.

I had a great time there. We got up when we wanted, ate breakfast with bacon and eggs. We drove with the motorbikes (me behind my dad). We worked on the jigsaw puzzle dad's girlfriend brought and play card games. We had lunch mostly around 4pm and have late dinner followed by pie. We sat at the barbecue (that we use as a fireplace) and only went to bed when it was completely dark around us.

It all sounds lame but to me it was great. I work every week only 3 days but the other 4 days never give me the feeling of holidays. Time for pictures!

This first picture I took is from my place in dad's car. It's a Land Rover Defender with only 2 seats. I just put myself in the back when we're there in the country side. There's no police there (or at least I never saw police...) so it's fine to not have a seat. Dad never rides on the same road, he happens to take a lot of the sand roads between the fields. Also, this is the car where I had my first driving lesson with.

I once made a camp in this forest with a friend years ago. It's still kind of there, not in a good state though. Close by there is this ant nest. You can't see it on the picture but this whole nest is crowded with ants, this ants take needles from the forest to build this nest with. It's amazing.

Blueberry! I really love this berries so I went looking for them. The next morning I took my bike, drove up the hill, into the forest and picked berries for like an half hour. After that I drove back and had them for breakfast. -sparkling eyes-

Swallows where flying over, catching bugs before they'd go to sleep. I tried to take pictures of them flying but yeah... My phone is not a good camera. So here's a picture of a blue air instead of birds!

This are pictures of the jigsaw puzzle. There were 1500 pieces. I couldn't finish it, there were like 30 pieces left.
