Happy holidays!

I would normally draw some fancy 'Merry Christmas' thingie but I'm way too addicted to my new Steam games (I'll post about that later). I had to make a Christmas card for photoshop class though so I'll post that one.











I hope you all had some nice cozy Christmas days with loads of food and nice presents!

I spent Christmas evening with my father, his girlfriend and my brother and we got company from dad's girlfriend's daughters later on. We spent most of the evening unwrapping presents because we had 84 presents lying under the tree (I counted them!).
I spent Christmas day with my family from dad's side and yesterday I spent an afternoon with my mother and her family.

I took a picture of all my presents but first... What's in the mailbox?!



















Today I found a box in my mailbox! A box from Gabriella! It had a REALLY pretty necklace (picture coming later), chocolate, candy, a scented candle (from IKEA) and a T-shirt that says: You're my No 1! Thank you Gabriella! Your boxes are the best! (aside from the tape)











From my father and his girlfriend, Ingrid, I got a new laundry basket, showercream, a bracelet with orange stones that mean 'motivation and energy', a box with a cute text inside, and a tiny box with money in it.
From my mother I got a new Eastpak backpack and flipflops from Brasil.
My brother gave me fancy pralines from Ghent (the house box, so many boxes...) and a blue pig from Microsoft (he gets all this stuff from his job and passes them on to me).
Ingrid's oldest daughter Leyna ordered the prequel of the Maze runner books for me and got me a hand warmer. Ingrid's youngest daughter gave me a really soft blanket, but it's not on the picture because the cat stole it already.
My Godfather gave me a scarf (which I forgot to add to the picture) and a book coupon of €30.

Small Guild Wars update

Discovered a place in Silverwastes where no one comes. Looks pretty cool!












Gab showed me a tower in WvW you can climb. It's one of the highest points in WvW! You get a nice view and you can laugh at enemies who can't reach you.













New living story. I haven't finished yet but so far I've been playing as Caithe. It tells the story of when the Sylvari were just born.

Aaarch Aaaage!

Several reasons made me get tired of GW2 so I'm taking a break! I miss CoG  but I got some of them on Skype. One of them, Znoodie, asked if I wanted to try another MMO with him. We decided on Arch Age.

It's a pretty cool game! I've been playing a bit the past few days and I finally found out how to take screenshots so, take a look!

This is my character. He's a warmaster (warrior) but also knows some magic spells. You can choose up till 3 different skilltrees which you can change out any moment. This means you can turn from a hardcore warrior tank into a spellcasting overpowered mage in seconds!










There are mounts in this game. Some you can mount with two or more people at the same time, which is nice for travelling together! Sadly our fuzzy mounts are for only one person but we hope to find another mount soon.











There's a screenshot mode which allows you to move your camera around freely without moving your character. This gives a lot of possibilities to take screenshots of your character and sceneries.

There are two alliances and 4 playable races in Arch Age. There are humans, tiny humans (the race we play), elves and cats.

Aside from the normal mounts there are also boats! I'm not so good in rowing boats around yet so I let Znoodie row me around.















You got food and potions to heal you (although I barely use them) but you can also play music to heal yourself and allies. On this screenshot I was almost dying, Znoodie ran to me and started to play on his lute. Thanks.

In the character menu my character looks much more shiny than ingame.











Aside from regular mounts and boats there are also... Kites! They're pretty awesome and me and Znoodie always get excited when we reach a cliff. We just jump down and use our kites and flyyyyyyy.

Pants

This is something that happened to me in WvW when I was raiding with Gabriella's WvW guild WaCo. I killed an npc ranger and it dropped pants as loot.
