Minecraft: Introduction

Few... weeks ago meanwhile... I met IndianaJoey again on Flyff! We talked a bit and I added him on Skype. Then he send me Minecraft and I discovered the wonderful world of Minecraft.

Wonderful? All those pixels? Yep. After a while those pixels form a beautiful scenery in your head. I don't see 'just pixels' anymore but I really see trees, animals, mountains, caves, ...

So, I'm addicted to Minecraft now. I'll introduce you to my big project: Building a castle!

This is me. I'm Jack Sparrow. I'm standing on some wooden panels and some glass that is supposed to be my house. My second house actually. I started way more south but I traveled North to find mountains to build my castle on.

At my previous house I had a big farm with a lot of animals. I got a lot of love of them but I spend more time taking care of them than building a castle so I set them free and decided to leave.

So I found a mountain, dig myself in near the river and made it my new house.

It's very cozy inside. It's slightly different now though because some monster decided to blow it up. Ever since I close my doors better.

I build my house near the river so I could grow some grain. With that I bake bread and I'll be able to feed my pets later with it (after I finished the castle and start with a castle farm).

If you move away from the river you'll notice this 'big' wall. It's the defending wall of my castle! You can walk on it and in it.

When you get through it you'll see my castle! It looks more like a church now but I have to add more towers...

This is the entrance hall with the big glass window. It's still pretty dark and there's still a lot of work to do.

If you descent the stairs you'll arrive in the main hall of my castle. I'm going to make things smoother here and make a huge lava fountain and a lot of dining tables and a big throne. You'll see!

But beware if you go even deeper... There are lava rivers!

Anyway I didn't do that much yet but I put my map online now so anyone with Minecraft that wants to help me is free to come!

Tower Siege Redemtion, smoothness

Err. I'm doing a great job on updating blog lately. I know. There just ain't much happening on Flyff now. If I logg I mostly chat with the guild Redemption and hang out with Roxas.

We did tower siege with Redemption. Twice already meanwhile... I totally forgot to post the screenshots on blog last week so I'll do it now.

This was our first Tower Siege. Jack tried his best to organize it and he did it really well. We had a good team including a Ringmaster (well.. Seraph). I joined with NeocroHero though my damage really fails now that I restated. I also forgot my jewelry so I doubt I was of much use. Jack made sure we didn't have to race against another guild so we had a better chance for victory. We did Flaris Tower Siege. Jack also made sure the best damage dealers had a party so they could link.

Anyway. We started killing the 100 monsters and rushed through the halls of the tower. When we reached the room of the mid-boss we realized we forgot one monster. Oops. Me, Jack and someone else ran back to look for it. It was close to the beginning of the tower so we had a long way to run. When I finally reached it, it was already killed by Jack and the other guy (forgot his name, I'm sorry!).

We appeared in the room of Asmodan. Controversy ran to it to tank it. We followed and started to kill it. We didn't have any troubles at all. No one died. Nyx got sometimes killed slow (they are so hard to target...) but that's all there is to say. Asmodan died faster than the Asmodan of the other Tower Siege. It barely took us 12 minutes (if I remember well). Victory!

Last week's Tower Siege went well too. Darkon Tower Siege this time. I got a bit jealous at MadeInUSA in the beginning. Since he was so long ranged he never got stunned by Asmodan while we did. Some of us got stun locked a few times and Nyx got killed late again sometimes but no one died. This Tower Siege took a bit longer than last time but it went fast enough. Another victory!

Some extra information. The money that Jack gets from Tower Siege will mostly go to new furniture. He will also use the money to pay the coming Tower Siege. When all furniture is bought the money will be stored in the guild warehouse. He's not sure yet what he'll use it for then.

An extra screenshot. Me at Burudengs. What I was doing there? ... Me and Tyler had a contest. We had to kill low level monsters to gather pieces of vagrant sets. The first one to get a complete set won. Roxas won. A noob that I met there was surprised the next day we talked. "You got level 75 in one day???"

Papercraft: Kingfisher

I made another small papercraft. I've wanted to make this one for quite a while already. It's a Kingfisher! I love this bird!

The legs are very thin so he doesn't stand well... Ah well, I love it!

This are a few things I bought last month. The plastic figure is a stress ball. Meanwhile I already finished the Assasin's Creed game and I loved it.

Papercraft: Okami

This papercraft was a b*tch.

It's a fox-thing from a Nintendo game called Okami. I decided to make it but realized soon enough that it was really bad designed. There were also no instructions at all, not even a 3D model where I could refer to so I had a really hard time making it (it just made no sense!). I got tired of making it and stopped with it but then I felt like papercrafting again and finished it.

I also gotta thank Aladdin for this. He said I motivated him when he was studying because he saw me working 'so hard' on this papercraft but... He motivated me to continue because of that. I dedicate this papercraft to him!

My cat is lazy. She's so lazy that she doesn't even bother lifting her head while my dad piles stuff on her. She's so lazy that she didn't even bother opening her eyes while we were laughing with her.

I wish I could be so lazy without getting yelled at.

Coloured drawing: Mercenaries

Eh, I finally finished this...

I started working on this drawing inspired by leveling my Knight, MrsHat. I often had a Mercenary as trainings partner and we had the same clothes (since it was a set you got from a quest). Thinking about that I wanted to draw MrsHat with a boy with the same set on. I didn't use any models this time to form my characters. It's completely drawn by my hand! ... And then I edited it on the computer.

I got bored of coloring since I usually only have one character to draw. Now I had to color two characters and a cow! So it took me longer to finish it than I expected. The background was fun to make since I just draw it out of my hand on the computer without any lines.

I know it isn't such a great drawing (I get so depressed by looking on Deviantart...) but I hope you'll like it.
