Coloured drawings: Yakuta and Dante

Oh, hello.

I don't know if you have noticed but this amazing game named 'Skyrim' got released almost two weeks ago. That totally explains why I didn't even bother caring about my blog. Skyrim has been dragging all my attention to him (she, it?). The game is so beautiful that... that I have to stop writing about it because else I'll be spamming this topic about the beautiful mountains and the amazing combat (yeah, I think it's amazing) of Skyrim. But this topic isn't supposed to be about the huge world of Skyrim with a lot of quests and a lot of adventures, this post is about my new coloured drawings.

Phew.

Since I have trouble lately with drawing I decided to become a cheater. First I felt bad about it but then I told myself it was al right to cheat as long as I won't call this work all mine. I have a website that shows poses of people. I use those poses and draw them over in my drawing program on my computer. From that I get a base. Then I start my own work. Changing some parts, giving it clothes and then in the end colouring it. I really like to use this method since it gives me some nice results.

The first one is a random guy with the newest Yakuta set on Flyff. I thank Aladdin for lending me that set so I could take a good look at it, though I could've used the CS viewer too. The head is a bit weird but the rest of the drawing worked out pretty well.

The second drawing is the main character of a story Son has been thinking about a lot. When he told me about his story I decided to design the main character for him. I hope he likes it, because I do!

New purchases

When I was at the countryside and I was thinking about the new Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim, being released soon. Then I suddenly thought about that I had to get my car license. I linked them together and thought that I shouldn't play Skyrim before finishing my theory car exam.... Damn... The idea was born and I didn't want to get off it any more. So I studied and did my exam Wednesday. It was harder than I thought it'd be but... I passed!

Passing meant that I could play Skyrim. I pre-ordered it earlier already and got the game yesterday (got it for Xbox360 since I secretly love my Xbox a lot). When I got home I only had an hour to play since me and my mother planned to go to the book convention in my town. I don't think any other country has such a big book convention as we do. It's 4 huge halls filled with stances of publishers with their books. To a lot of Belgians it's a habit of going there every year, including me.

My mother told me when we got back she planned on buying only a single book. She failed. I didn't plan on buying only one book but if I didn't hold myself back I would've bought so much more than I did now. We bought together 11 books. I got 4 books (Eragon, known from the movie; a book about a family with a lot of pets; a book about the one child rule in china; and a book about a Belgian family with a triplet where two girls got cystic fibrosis) and 2 mangas (Inuyasha3 and Bleach3) and my mother got 4 books and a cookbook (cookbooks are really popular in Belgium lately). By the way, 10 books in a bag makes a bag heavy. True fact!

When we got home (after passing the Quick, sort of Mac Donalds but better) I could play Skyrim again. I played till like 1am. I don't know if I can spoil things here but... Ah who cares it's my blog. I had to run from a dragon in the beginning and ended up with a friend in underground halls. When I got out of this halls and arrived on a mountain I hold my breath. I saw the snowy mountains around me, the plants, animals between the trees and sweet music soared through my ears. After running through the underground dark halls this moment was amazing. I got off the road immediately to ran between the trees and look around me. And you know what? There are no ******* invisible walls! You can walk on every rock (unless it's too steep) which is useful since I got surrounded by rocks on a certain moment. Not that I was surprised to reach such a point. I was on a huge mountain and I didn't see much more than mountains besides the river when I went down.

Anyway, after a while I reached the town where I had to be for my quest and talked to a guy that gave me some food (carrots, salad, potatoes, cheese, bread...) and other things such as material to make armour. I tried to figure out how to make armour (since I mostly fail at figuring that out) and realized it wasn't that hard at all, though I lacked materials. I got send to another town to warn some guy that there was a dragon spotted. I slept in a bed first so I'd be able to walk during the day and started my journey. The town wasn't that hard to find (just following the question mark on my navigator) but the world around me was huge and side quests kept appearing in my diary (diary is like your quest log). I reached the small castle, warned the guy that looked like a king and got send on another quest. I decided to do one of my side quests before I'd continue my main quest and left the town to go to the university to learn some magic.

I see that I'm writing too much already so I won't tell you too many details any more. I got attacked by thieves, killed them and stole their horse, rode with that horse to the university (I thought I was crossing the whole map though, but I was just riding a small piece of the map...) and went with some other pupils to a cave. There some strange stuff happened and I had to get further in the cave. After that I was so tired that I went to bed. What a game...

On the picture you also see a map. I got that map together with my game since I pre-ordered it. It's supposed to from Fabric but it's plastic fabric I think... No complains though! It's a cool map. I also got a second Xbox controller so I can play with others on my Xbox.

Coloured drawings: Cherry blossom yakuta, Sam and Brett

I really love colouring drawings again! I draw this Cherry Blossom Yakuta girl a while ago but now I coloured it. I think she looks really pretty! Sam wanted the cherry blossom leaves flying around so I made a few. I still have to learn how to make background though...

I made the following two chibis when I just learned about how to draw chibis. The first one is supposed to be Sam and the second one Brett. I'll be drawing more of these soon. Request are welcome, btw. I don't promise making what you request but I happen to have no idea what to draw so new ideas are welcome.

Coloured drawings and pictures

Thanks to João (Billy on Flyff) I got my drawing program back (not illegal...! I pro-... never mind). So now I can digitalise my drawings again. Hooray. Here are two already.

Damn photobucket for making my second drawing so fuzzy.

Last week I left for a few days to the country side again. There were a few wild cats hanging around our house.

It wasn't such good weather but that didn't hold me from taking a walk through the most lovely place over there: the swamp! It has the most beautiful nature that I've seen with my own eyes. It's autumn now so it's a little brown-ish but it's still lovely

The day after the sun appeared so we went for a ride with our bikes. I have to say that my normal route through the city is a lot easier than climbing mountains by bike.

We went by train this time. We enjoyed the sunset and realized that the train windows were more like mirrors.

My days without Flyff: Day 27 - 31

The existing of this post means that my bet is over and that I managed to stay away from Flyff for a month. Hooray! Sam said he could swear I said I wouldn't play till the 10th of November but after checking our message history he had to admit that I won.

So, what's going to happen now?

Nothing, really. I logged 3 times on Flyff ever since my bet was over. The first time I logged I logged out again immediately. I saw no one I knew, there was no one online that I cared enough about. Logg out. The second time I came for Aladdin. I tried killing him in arena because he asked me to (he was sneaked) but he had too much block so I gave up on it. Then I logged out.
The third time I came online I logged together with Dino. A random kid ran to me and asked for money. He said we were friends. I said that I wouldn't give him money and asked who he was. He said he wouldn't tell me because I didn't want to give him money. Okay. Sure. Then he said I plvled him once, when he realized I didn't bother to reply on that he ran off. I removed my moustache (damn you, Dino!) and talked a bit to Dino. Rhia greeted me but nothing happened in the guild chat.

It's clear that my dear guild is unfortunately dead. It makes me kind of sad but on the other side I know it's my own fault. As far as I know TDF has never existed without me taking care of it. In any case... Because that TDF is dead I don't feel the urge to come back at all. It only hurts seeing my guild dead so I better stay away. Do I sound emo now? Sorry!

I'm not saying I'll never come back to Flyff but for now I'll stay away. Though... thanks everyone for the great times I had on Flyff. It means a lot to me.
